Ricardo Barroso is an architect, interior designer and plastic artist, recognized as one of the most accomplished designers of his generation, having achieved an international designer status, with projects in 2 continents and 9 cities.
Ricardo has completed many projects during his 25-year career, including large-scale residences, private yachts, private planes, nightclubs, boutique hotels and restaurants.
Recently, Ricardo finished the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences in Madrid, Spain, where he designed and executed the Roof top residences.
Ricardo designs his own line of furniture, rugs, accessories and fabrics.
Ricardo’s work has been published in 12 design books and more than 30 International design magazines. Such as AD, Elle Decoration, Vanity Fair, Vogue, GQ, among others…and in 2015, Ricardo published his first independent design book titled Ricardo Barroso Interiors, with a foreword written by American star, Eva Longoria, a personal friend. The book features more than two hundred images of some of Ricardo’s designs during his career, including residences, airplanes and boats in cities like Madrid, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Mexico City.
Ricardo has won several awards and recognitions, among them the National Interior Design Award in Residential Interiors -given by the Mexican Association of Interior Architecture-and the Top international designer -from Architectural Digest magazine-, in addition to being part of the list of the "50 most creative Mexicans in the world" in 2015, elaborated by Forbes magazine.
Ricardo Has offices in Mexico City, Madrid, Spain, and in Miami Florida where he continues to create exciting projects for his clients.
